  24. 2 inch coconut
  25. 1 inch cinnamon
  26. 1 g nutmeg
  27. 1 g Mace
  28. 1 tomato
  29. 1 Black cardamom
  30. 2-3 green cardamoms
  31. 2 pinch poppy seeds

Steps to make to make Veg Biryani

  1. To make the garam masala paste roughly chop 2 onions and fry 1 onion..then add them and all the other ingredients to a grinding jar and grind it to a fine paste..
  2. Then heat 3 tablespoon oil in a cooker add add cumin seeds and bay leaves to it..
  3. When it starts crackling add the prepared paste to it..
  4. Cook for a minute then add the salt, red chilli powder and garam masala powder to it..
  5. Mix and cook for 2-3 mins.. Then add the peas to it..
  6. Then add water and cook till peas are 60% cooked..
  7. Then add chopped carrots and potatoes to it..
  8. Then add the soaked rice to it..
  9. Add water and close the lid of the cooker.. Cook for 2 whistles.. (One on high flame and other on low flame..)
  10. When your rice are done..
  11. Add milk to the color and pour it on the cooked rice..
  12. Then heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and add the chopped onion to it..
  13. When onion turns golden brown in colour pour it on the rice and your tasty veg biryani is ready to eat.. 😋
